What is the Discover Scuba Diving?
The Discover Scuba Diving program is designed to offer a more complete diving experience than a traditional try dive.
This PADI program includes a thorough theoretical training and two dives in the sea at a maximum depth of 10 meters, with full equipment.
It allows participants to gain confidence and learn the basics of diving in a safe and secure way, always accompanied by an instructor.
What to expect during the Discover Scuba Diving in the Costa Brava ?
The activity lasts approximately 2.5 hours and is divided into two parts
Theory
A complete theoretical session where you will learn how the diving equipment works as well as safety rules.
Practical
Two dives in the sea of 25 minutes each
💡 Theory
The first part is the theoretical one. It is intended to explain all the basic concepts, in order to make your first dive in the Costa Brava a success, with a full high-quality equipment and a professional guiding you at all times.
We will explain each part of the diving equipment, how to use each of the elements that help you stabilize in water, how to breathe properly through the regulator and all the necessary communication signals to communicate with your instructor once you are immersed underwater.
🤿 Practical
Here we enter into the practical phase, it is the moment in which you enter in contact with the water and put into practice everything you have learned previously during the theory.
You will have all the necessary equipment to enjoy your experience to the maximum, and in full safety.
You will always be accompanied by a certified professional, who will give you the necessary instructions, check all the elements of your diving suit and ask you theoretical questions to make sure that everything is clear.
The two Discover Scuba Diving dives in the Costa Brava

The first dive includes some basic exercises (emptying the mask, retrieving the regulator, etc.) to help the students gain confidence with their underwater environment.

The second dive is at a deeper depth. The student will put into practice what he/she has learned in the previous dive and how to try to maintain neutral floatability between two waters.
Who is Discover Scuba Diving intended for?
This program is accessible to everyone from 10 years old and up.
It is perfect for families, couples, groups of friends and even for corporate activities.
No previous experience is required. Previous experience in snorkeling or swimming in the sea is preferred but not necessary.
Prerequisites and Requirements
- Minimum age: 10 years old.
- Not being pregnant.
- Not to fly within 12 hours after the activity.
- No serious health problems (asthma, epilepsy, heart, lung or vascular diseases, perforated eardrums, diabetes).
