What is the Scuba Diving Initiation – Bubble Maker?
The Bubble Maker is an introductory underwater experience specially designed for children aged 8 to 10 who want to discover the magic of diving on the Costa Brava.
This activity takes place in shallow water to ensure a fun and safe experience, with properly fitted diving equipment and under the constant supervision of an experienced instructor.
If you are over 10 years old or already have experience in snorkeling or open-water swimming, we highly recommend the Discover Scuba Diving program. This course combines the thrill of an initiation dive with more comprehensive learning, perfect for those looking to dive deeper into the world of scuba. We have adventures for all ages!
What takes place during the Diving initation – Bubble Maker ?
The activity lasts approximately 90 minutes and is divided into two parts:
Theory
Learn the basics of diving, safety rules and equipment use.
Practice
Dive in the sea with an instructor, at a maximum depth of 8 meters, for 25 minutes.

This course combines the elements of the scuba diving initiation with deeper training and two dives. It’s perfect for those looking to explore beyond their first initiation.
Who is the Scuba Diving Initiation – Bubble Maker for?
This program is accessible for children aged 8 to 10. No prior experience is required, making it ideal for beginners.
You will always be accompanied by a certified diving instructor, who will be dedicated exclusively to you so you can fully enjoy the activity.
Do not fly within 12 hours following the activity. No serious health issues (asthma, epilepsy, heart, lung, or vascular diseases, perforated eardrums, diabetes)
What will you learn?
A brief training session will provide you with the basic knowledge of scuba diving:
- Essential techniques for diving and communicating underwater safely.
- Use of diving equipment from the beach of Calella de Palafrugell, in shallow waters.
- Movement and navigation in the water with scuba gear.
What’s included in the Scuba Diving Initiation in the Costa Brava ?
- Full diving equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, buoyancy vest, regulator, diving tank).
- Supervision by a certified PADI instructor or divemaster.
- Insurance coverage during the activity.
